Has anyone had an experience with Kennedy Funding? Is the company legitimate or a ripoff?

Hey guys, has anyone here used Kennedy Funding for a loan? I'm currently in the process of purchasing a property and need some help understanding if Kennedy Funding is right.

I’ve worked with Kennedy Funding before, and the biggest advantage for me was the speed. They were willing to look at the deal based on the property and overall situation rather than making the process feel as rigid as a traditional bank. That said, I’d definitely compare the total cost of the loan before committing because the convenience can come at a higher price.

I looked into Kennedy Funding when I was financing a property. They can be useful if you need a loan that doesn’t fit the usual bank criteria, but I’d go through the terms cautiously. Pay particular attention to the interest rate, fees, loan term, and what happens at maturity. I’d also get quotes from a couple of other lenders, so you have something to compare against.

I haven’t used them myself, but I know they’re more geared toward commercial and hard-money-type lending rather than being a traditional mortgage lender. If your property purchase is time-sensitive or doesn’t fit conventional lending requirements, they may be worth exploring. I’d just make sure you understand the full cost before signing anything.

A friend of mine used Kennedy Funding for a property deal that was difficult to finance through a conventional lender. From what they told me, the process was fairly straightforward, and the main attraction was getting the deal done when the banks weren't an option. The important thing is to make sure the numbers work for your particular property, because these types of loans can be quite different from a standard bank loan.
