Sadly, Windows 11 doesn’t have a built-in tool that consistently shows the CPU temperature. The easiest option is to use a free hardware-monitoring app such as HWMonitor or Core Temp. Install the app, open it, and look for the CPU temperature reading. It is usually listed under the processor section. The base version of Windows 11 does not have a "easy" way to see the temperature of the CPU in the main Settings app. I would look in the UEFI/BiOS screen or use a good monitoring software like Core Temp. It helps to compare with temperature while PC is idle and heavy programs are running and longer.
First, I would check BIOS/UEFI, since many computers will display the CPU temperature there. In the case of Windows 11 I would use a trusted software, such as HWMonitor, to monitor regularly inside Windows. I would monitor the temperature while using the processor normally and during heavy use as this gives a more accurate indication of the heat generated by the processor over time.

For me, the easiest thing would be to install a trusted CPU monitoring software. Can display the temperature of the processor in real time and many times individually core by core. Also find out if the computer has a problem with ventilation, as high temperature can be due to dust, blocked vents or cooling issue in the computer case.
