How to delete an app on Roku?

I have a bunch of apps on my Roku that I no longer use. Can anyone help me figure out how to delete them?

To delete an app on Roku:

1. Go to the Roku home screen and highlight the app you want to remove.
2. Press the * (Star) button on your Roku remote.
3. Select Remove app or Remove channel.
4. Confirm by selecting Remove.

The app will be removed from your Roku device

I would go to the home screen of the Roku and switch the cursor to the desired app that I would like to delete. Then I would press the Star button on the remote, click Remove app, and then confirm when Roku prompts me. The app should be removed from the home screen, and if needed, can be added to home screen later.

To remove an application, go to the Roku Home screen and select the icon of the application you wish to remove. Click on Star button, select Remove app from the menu and click on Remove. I love this way because it is quick (only a few seconds) and for most Roku owners, avoids opening multiple setting menus and restarting the TV.

You can remove Roku apps easily and typically without impacting your TV's overall settings. On the home screen click on the app, press the Star button, choose Remove app and confirm. If this is not possible, ensure that you're on the main Roku home screen and that the device is connected properly.
